PLEASE NOTE: Two events are referenced in the below information 

We cordially invite you to participate in the Florence City & Lauderdale County College Fair for high school seniors. The event will be held on the University of North Alabama campus in Florence, Alabama on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 beginning at 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. 

In addition to the Florence City & Lauderdale County College Fair, we are hosting a Lauderdale County Parent Night on August 23, 2022 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. You will be able to leave your table set up between events.

We are expecting 1500 high school seniors to attend the college fair from 10 local high schools located in the Florence City and Lauderdale County area.

Arrival and Parking Details: Both the college fair and the Parent Night will be located in the Banquet Halls of UNA’s Robert M. Guillot University Center (GUC), which is most conveniently accessible from North Pine Street.

There will be reserved parking for the college representatives. That morning plan to arrive between 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. Please park in the reserved spaces marked with white lines. Our student ambassadors in purple polo shirts will be in the parking lot to guide, assist, and help unload. The same spaces will be reserved for the Parent Night.

Here's a link to UNA's campus map. The GUC is building #12 on the map (E-4).  You should be able to unload materials and then park in Parking Lot K, which is adjacent to the rear of the building. 

For Your Convenience:  A light breakfast and refreshments will be served in the hospitality room which will be located right beside the GUC banquet halls. This room will be designated only for college representatives, high school guidance counselors, and chaperones during the college fair. We will also have dinner available beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the hospitality room.

We will provide counselor boxes for college representatives to leave information for area guidance counselors.

RSVP:  Please fill out the college fair reservation form through alacrao.org by August 12, 2022. Exhibitors will be required to pay a fee for this event.
